Are you looking for a way to make some positive changes in your life and don’t know where to begin? The change you want starts with you. That’s right, you can start where you are. A simple thought can turn into words and those words turn into action.
When you have a positive mindset, you can set reminders for yourself that encourage you to make better decisions and create healthy enjoyable habits that contribute to a lifestyle that you desire. You will also conquer any fear or anxiety that may be holding you back.

Here are a few quick tips to incorporate into your lifestyle to ensure that can get you off to a healthy start:

Set a Schedule:

There’s a time for everything. Organize your day to include everything from your meals and snacks to your meditation and physical activity. By setting a schedule, this will help motivate you to accomplish what you set out to do.

You Are What You Eat:

This reminder is to help you to eat healthy and clean. Choosing healthier foods can lead to better moods, higher energy levels, and better sleeping. Find what works best for your body and optimize the endless health benefits.

Keep It Green:

Drink plenty of water throughout your day to keep yourself hydrated. You also want to make sure that you are using a sustainable container that you can reuse. Having a plant in your vicinity will also help you with your oxygen intake, especially now if you’re wearing a mask.

Reduce Eye Strain:

It’s very important to give your eyes a rest from all phones and computers at some point during the day. If you can’t take an extended break, you can close your eyes and look away from your screen for 10-15 seconds to give your eyes a rest. This will eliminate headaches, fatigue.

Stay in Touch:

Schedule some virtual girl time with your crew or meet up with your family once a week, so everyone can see one another and catch up. Thank goodness we are so technologically advanced and have the opportunity to see each other without leaving our homes.

Remember to start where you are and create some healthy habits that will work for you. Life is a journey, not a destination. What you create today, will not only help you to enjoy your life, but it will also help you cope with when those curveballs come your way. Be creative, be inspired, be authentic and most of all enjoy your journey!
